Skinny Cow Weight Watcher Points Plus

I don’t know about you, but I have really come to like Skinny Cow products. They taste good and they are relatively low in Weight Watcher points. I was at the store the other day, and they have repackaged many of their products, so I thought I would check some of them out and see how many points and how they taste.

Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches – 4 Weight Watcher Points Plus – I usually get just the chocoloate or vanilla, but they seem to have reforumlated some of the flavored ones and not they are only 4 points too. The ice cream part tastes very good, and the cookie is still a bit crunchy. This is a good way to finish lunch or dinner.

Skinny Cow Cups – 4 Weight Watcher Points Plus – This is just the regular containers of ice cream. This is also VERY good stuff. The Carmel Cone is 5 points, but all the rest are 4.  They taste great, a bit small, but great!

Skinny Cow Cones – 4 Weight Watcher Points Plus – I prefer the Mint with Fudge or the Vanilla with Carmel.

Skinny Cow Bars – 3 Weight Watcher Points Plus – These are a great choice, especially when you don’t have as many points, but still want something sweet. In fact, the Mini Fudge Pops are only 1 Points Plus! I haven’t tried them all, but the Chocolate Truffle is pretty nice!

Skinny Cow Candy – Oh!!! I found this stuff the other day at Kroger, and it may be the best stuff I have found since starting WW back in February.  I have tried the Heavenly Crisp and the Dreamy Clusters. So good! I don’t have the nutrition label in front of my right now, but if I remember it was only 2 Points Plus.

Overall, I’m a big fan of Skinny Cow products. Nearly all grocery stores carry them, and you can find the ice cream sandwiches at some convenient store gas stations. The only downside is that they can be a bit pricey, so if you find a coupon online, in a magazine, or newspaper, make sure you cut it out or print it.

The Weight Watchers brand ice cream is “okay.” I do like their ice cream candy bars. Those are excellent. All the other stuff is average, except their ice cream sandwiches. I thought they were a disappointment. The ice cream was not that great and the cookie was soggy.

If you find coupons, post a comment to this post and let me know where to find them.

I have tried the Skinny Cow clusters too and they’re delicious. but just note that on the package it says 2 points (and then in small print it tells you they have no affiliation with Weight Watchers)…when i plugged the nutrition it came out to 4 points plus per package. not terrible, but you want to know that in advance…

That might be the older packaging for the Skinny Cow products. The new packaging, I don’t believe, shows any connection to Weight Watchers.

The 2 points is referring to the old Points system, not the newer Points Plus system. If the 2 points is in a white circle, it is referring to the old system. If it is in a blue diamond shape, it is referring to the Points Plus system.

They are right the points on the skinny cow candy box are for the old point system not points plus. I found this out on the the Skinny cow website.

You guys have sooo many more Skinny Cow options in the states! We only have maybe four different types here in Canada!

I’m 66 and started on WW Online in March. My beginning
was 238. Today I am proud to say I am below 200 for the
first time in the last 30 years. At 198 and dropping an
average of 1 to 1.5 per week. I walk 4 miles EVERY day
and feel better than EVER. I have a Dre. Appt. on Sept
and I’m planning a surprise for the Dr. who has been
hounding me to lose weight for at least 15 years. I figure
by the time of my visit I will have lost at least 44 lbs. and
will be about 196 (or less). I am going to put 11 bags of
sugar (4# each) on two bags and bring them in and put
them on the exam table. I hope he gets the point that
what I will have done is SIGNIFICANT!
HAPPY IN MISSOURI (Even if its HOT HOT HOT)
